Fellow members are advanced practice providers (APPs) who have graduated from an accredited APP program (nurse practitioner or physician associate) and work in clinical genetics and genomics for more than 50% of their professional time, including the evaluation, management, and/or treatment of patients with genetic conditions, as approved by the Membership Committee. Fellow members have floor and voting privileges, may hold office as defined in the CGAPP Bylaws, and may attend the annual CGAPP Conference.

Associate members are non-APP health care professionals working in genetics and genomics who support and advocate for APPs in the field. This may include geneticists, genetic counselors, registered nurses, laboratory directors, dietitians, educators, or other related professionals. Associate members have floor privileges but may not vote, hold office, or attend the annual CGAPP Conference.
5. Affiliate Members

Affiliate members are non-genetics health care professionals who are not APPs but support and advocate for APPs in clinical genetics and genomics. This may include physicians other than geneticists, registered nurses, laboratory directors, dietitians, educators, or other related professionals. Affiliate members have floor privileges but may not vote, hold office, or attend the annual CGAPP Conference.
